Good morning!

I’m emailing in regards to a price enquiry. By the end of March I will be a qualified zumba instructor and looking at putting on classes. In the meantime i’m looking at village halls and community centres prices and availability to get the ball rolling.

I am looking at doing classes on either Wednesdays, thursdays, fridays, and possibly sundays.

Please could you let me know about your price options to hire?
If the hall is hired on a regular basis is there a price for that option etc?

Warmest regards,
Kim Spurrier

Hi Roy,

I am searching for an old college friend who lived in Woodland Lea, Helpston. We were at Stourbridge College of Art between 1978 and 1981 on the BA (Hons) Glass course. As this was 40 years ago the family may have moved. The family name was Graves. Is there a local friends re-united page or something similar for Helpton ,where by a message could be left?. I have another college friend Ann who was on the same course and we were just discussing this yesterday and she had not heard from our classmate either.

Many thanks,

Kind regards,

Mark Fenn BA (Hons) Glass

Hi Mark, thanks for contacting the website. I have put your posting up and hopefully someone may see it. but to be candid you might have more luck posting something on the local Helpston Community Facebook page. It attracts a lot more traffic than conventional websites.
Kind regards

It looks like you’ve misspelled the word “affraid” on your website. I thought you would like to know :). Silly mistakes can ruin your site’s credibility. I’ve used a tool called SpellScan.com in the past to keep mistakes off of my website.

Thank you, Amanda, for contacting me regarding a spelling error on the website. The “error” in question is in a poem by John Clare, the famous Helpston poet. There are different views on editing Clare’s work. Whilst earlier publishers often tried to “correct” his work because they felt his unconventional spelling and usage might hinder sales of his poems, the general consensus today is to let the original, authentic voice of Clare speak directly to us. I hope you will accept this position and thank you for your interest.
